Introduction
Choreographer/Dancer Ye Minghua - Responding to Sam Jenks with a Real Human Body
On the nightly opening day of Yuxiu Art Museum every quarter, Ye Minghua, a choreographer whose creative core has moved from theater to art museum in recent years, is invited to conceive and design the dance with the current exhibition "Body of Change". Dancing in.
During the dance, choreographer Ye Minghua transforms herself into the sixth piece of the exhibition, which is connected with the work of Sam Jinks. Through the external gesture of the exhibits, the internal interpretation of the curator and the dancer's own life experience, it is transformed and connected into a dance performance. The dance planning uses the real human body as the traction medium to alternate and rotate between the real body and the creation.
In addition to showing the beauty of the body, Ye Minghua also added cloth, clothing and other objects in the choreography process to conduct a dialogue with the works. Echoing the flickering lights and shadows and enriching the imagination of the work, the audience is invited to experience the changing beauty of Sam Jinks in the space of the museum and the flowing crowd.
