Introduction

The "Lego Man" created by Yang Boyao is paired with familiar scenes in life to interpret fictional stories, reflecting consumption and dietary issues that modern people may encounter or may not pay attention to. And what kind of inspiration does a rock song have on Yang Boyao's creation? Why did the creator take daily consumption behavior and food thinking as the main axis of narrative development?

In the workshop, artists will firstly share their personal creative patterns and consumption views in a relaxed way in the exhibition room, and talk about the creator's inspiration through personal experience and small stories discovered during the process of searching for materials. And the connection between music, movies, reading and cooking and works: Next, the artist will combine his own life experience to share with you a tomato dish that can be made easily and taste the original taste of the ingredients.

Yang Boyao

Born in 1981, Yang Boyao uses a symbolic creative technique to transform himself into an object to connect with the external world.
