[Expert Lecture] Art Afternoon Tea: Artist Lian Jianxing

In December, we carefully designed two afternoon teas of art and literature, and invited the poet Xu Huizhi and the artist Lian Jianxing to meet you for afternoon tea and chat about art. In the environment where nature and humanities are blended, you can enjoy the world of art.


Lian Jianxing said, "In the early days, when taking photos and taking pictures, it must be based on my own personal experience, so that I can have feelings for the landscape. Only when my personal experience touches emotions can it become an inspiration, which can be transformed and reproduced into painting creations." Therefore, Lian Jianxing's Every painting has a real scene to follow, just as Jian Zijie, the curator of this exhibition "I Wish to Walk the Island Country Only Deeply Gaze: The Magic of Lian Jianxing's Desolate Landscape" said: "Lian Jianxing brings ethnographers to participate in the observation. Only by looking at every scene and object in the countryside can we create such a unique magic of the deserted landscape.” On the afternoon tea appointment on December 17, Lian Jianxing will share with you the photos of the mines he took since college. And the landscape context of many works in this exhibition.
